Dr. Xin got his PhD degree of optical engineering in Zhejiang University in 2018, and now is an associate professor in the School of Instrument and Electronics, North University of China. His research interests focus on optical field manufacturing and sensing applications of low-dimension optical structures, including: 1) high-precision displacement sensors based on two-dimension micro-/nanogratings; 2) hybrid integrated nanophotonic sensors based on one-dimension micro-/nanowires. He has published more than 20 papers on journals such as Nano Letters、Optics Express、Crystal Growth&Design、Sensors and Micromachines, and possessed over 20 patents. Now, he is the topical advisor of Micromachines (E: Engineering and Technology) and the youth editor of Journal of Measurement Science and Instrumentation.
